Tuscaloosa is most famous for University of Alabama football and Coach Bear Bryant but in addition to the campus area it has some nice restaurants and riverside areas . For history buffs, there is also the nearby site of Moundville–a world famous example of Native American mound culture with a recently refurbished and excellent museum. (2013, 2016)

Central to Tuscaloosa identity is UofA football and the famous Crimson Tide.
One of several old buildings on the university campus is the President’s Mansion completed in 1841.

Here is one of my friends at the famously low maintenance barbecue dive called Dreamland BBQ.
Among the great discoveries at Moundville is a stone pallette with one of the best examples of the famous hand/eye motif of the Mississippian period now on display in a wonderfully refurbished museum.
