My first views of New York were brief in passing (on the way from Canada) with quick stops at the Empire State Building and Central Park and what felt like a harrowing first taxi ride. I was quite glad to get the unexpected chance years later to spend most of a day wandering around Manhattan thanks to a delayed flight connection. Both outings gave quite a view of how huge and busy of a city NYC is.(1999, 2005)

Rising from the ashes, the new towers of the World Trade Center shine brilliantly.
