Snellville is a suburb of Atlanta along Highway 78–while rather typical in terms of the shopping and housing, I have several friends there and we’ve been able to find a few nice corners.
The main area of town off the highway has the town hall, some recent parks and memorials, and interesting churches like the one above.
Also in the midst of town is a large park called Briscoe Park that is full of nice walkways, picnic areas, recreation areas, and a little fish pond to stroll around.
My friends and I really like this unique cigar bar Lincoln Fill Station–it has a specialty European beers and microbrews, a humidor, and a very nice atmosphere despite being in the middle of an empty shopping parking lot.
