Decatur has long been a vibrant neighborhood with its historic square full of outdoor cafes and pubs, casual and upscale restaurants, and boutique shoppes. It hosts numerous recurring and notable festivals and is a favorite area for both families and local college students as well as the seat of the major metro county of Dekalb.
