Entering Sedona, the landscape changes quite startlingly from desert and stone to bright red rock. It presents a classic landscape of Arizona that has been featured in many westerns throughout the years. It is now one of the most popular visitor sites in the state as well as a magnet for movie stars, retirees, and new age practitioners (seeking the supposed “power vortexes” throughout the area).
