My friends and I were in Evian for a few days, so we took the ferry across Lake Geneva into Laussane (Switzerland). We only spent a short time in the city, but we did get a nice overview of the architecture of the city as you can see here. We also spent a lot of the time walking up and down since Laussane rises from the lake shore up into the hills. (1996)

From the higher parts of the city you get a really good view of the impressive Swiss architecture of Laussane.
Here I am beside one of the many sets of stairways which go up through this hillside city.
