My friend and I stayed in Füssen in the home of a nice old woman named Frau Haslach. The center piece of this mountain town is the palace or Hohes Schloß. Of course, it is also the jumping off point to go visit the more famous Neuschwanstein Castle. Nearby, almost to the border with Austria, flows the Lech river where you can walk over to the Lech Falls. (2001)
