I was able to attend the wedding of a couple of friends in the wife’s hometown of La Rochelle. On the Atlantic coast of France, it’s a well-known old port town with strong ties to its Breton past. But for every old stone building in the town, it seems you can find a new luxury yacht in the harbor! (2001)
