Located right on Lake Geneva, Evian is famous as a source of spring water; it is also a nice tourist destination of thermal springs and mountain scenery as well. My friends and I spent some time here and had some excellent fondue savoyarde. (1996)
Being a famous spring source of water, you can even fill a cup of the freely flowing water along this wall in Evian–note the pink color which is also prominent on the Evian label.

Evian lies right on Lake Geneva which we were able to take a ferry out across. Through the mist you can make out some of the Alpine mountains in the distance.
