I had never had the notion to visit the Czech Republic or anywhere near it, but when I found out a group of friends from my home university would be traveling to Prague at the same time I had a school holiday during my studies in France, it seemed a perfect opportunity to join them. I am glad I did as it’s been my only experience at seeing Eastern Europe.
