Pine Mountain is a small town that has gained prominence for the use made of the beautiful area around it—FDR State Park offers some nice views of from atop Pine Mountain ridge and the famous Callaway Gardens are a major attraction that literally put the town on the map. (The name of the town was changed in 1958 to capitalize on people associating the area with the Pine Mountain gardens.) (2005, 2020)
