Lokichoggio (or Loki as it is called by the locals) is a small way station out in the northern desert of Kenya not far from the South Sudanese border. It serves as a hub for a lot of aid work access to Sudan and the Kenyan refugee camps. We flew in to it’s small airport before driving as a convoy to Kakuma.

In the lower left hand corner, you can see hut belonging to some of the Turkana, the native people who mostly live in this area
On the drive from Loki, you get a nice view of the desert landscape and the mountains around.
