Wissembourg is an old town of the Alsace region of France near the German border. Having been part of both countries, Wissembourg is a mix of French and German cultures (you can get by speaking either language). There are lots of old buildings and the Lauter river runs throughout the town. Because my friend’s mom was born here, I got a good tour and a chance to try some excellent tarte flambĂ©e. (2001)
Wissembourg has many picturesque views since the Lauter River runs right through the middle of town
