Just above the downtown core, you enter into Midtown Atlanta which is the other major busy part of the city with high-rise apartments and large office buildings. This is also the arts district where locations like Woodruff Arts Center, the Fox Theater, and the High Museum of Art are found.
In Midtown is Piedmont Park, a central outdoor gathering spot for the city, from which you can see the midtown night skyline over Lake Clara Meer
One of my favorite buildings in Atlanta is the Bank of America plaza which you see in the background here
