Located in the “Pine Belt” of south Mississippi, Hattiesburg is home of the University of Southern Mississippi where I spent four years of college. It also has an historic downtown that I never explored until years later. (1997, 2011, 2015)
This is the administration building which sits at the front of the USM campus and has become a symbol of the whole university.
Here’s a picture of my university’s international students group enjoying a day out at Paul B. Johnson state park. This is just to show that the “hot and muggy” summers of Mississippi can still be enjoyable!
